Life is a Catch 22

Some days it's light and airy
Happy go lucky
Full of love with baby smiles and kisses
Peaceful sunrises
Lilac scented breezes
No worries

Other days life throws you a curve ball
A suicide near Christmas down the street
Unexpected news of a newborn baby
who will die in two weeks no matter what
Threats of war and torture tactics
Your son without telling you
signs up for the military

Will Heaven be less like this and more consistently
Calm, safe, serene?
